Start of Another great adventure:

For those of you who haven’t figured it out, Jesse has not been doing the Blog or updates on the webpage, mom, Carla, has. We decided that we want Jesse to concentrate on what God is asking him to do, and we will take the information he shares and update the rest of you. Today is Monday September 28th in New Zealand so yesterday, was Jesse’s first day at YWAM. I dropped him off at the Queenstown base and after a few tears and a prayer of blessing he was on his way. I will say he fared much better than I did as he was smiling as I pulled away with tears in my eyes. Yesterday he spent time getting to know his cohort mates a bit more, and they did a traditional New Zealand welcome yesterday afternoon as part of their opening ceremonies. Today, the spent time walking around Queenstown and took a brief but chilly dip in Lake Wakatipu. I’ve added some photos in the gallery of the views from his front and back yard. Believe me, his life will be completely “horrible” the next few months. We texted yesterday and he said “I’m having fun, Gonna be a great 3 months”. Praying he has an amazing adventure and grows in Grace and the knowledge of Christ. Go do good things son!
