Travel days

Today we are currently in the Sydney Airport awaiting our connecting flight to Queenstown. 13 Hour flight from LAX to Sydney wasn’t too bad, I slept most of the way, but I don’t think mom faired as well. We have a couple of firsts, after documenting 1 last before I go. First time for both of us to cross the international date line. Pretty anticlimactic except it is now September 24th not the 23rd. Also, first time for mom to be in the southern hemisphere. We could say first time for both of us in Australia, but we don’t count airports as being in a country. Next stop Queenstown, NZ.
